MENTOR, OH ― June 2017― Libra Industries, a privately held electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, recently sponsored the Christopher R. Howell Memorial Foundation’s 12th Annual Golf Outing at the Kirtland Country Club. During the event, Libra Industries’ CEO Rod Howell awarded two scholarships totaling $20,000. The scholarships were awarded as follows:
The Christopher R. Howell Memorial Foundation awards scholarships to graduating seniors of Kirtland High School who have demonstrated strength of character and a desire to succeed both in and out of the classroom. The Foundation was established as a memorial to Christopher R. Howell, a Kirtland resident whose unconditional love and compassion for children left a mark on all who came in contact with him. Chris passed away in 2001 at the age of 38. He was the VP of Libra Industries for 21 years at the time of his death. For more information about the Christopher R.
