Global EHS Manager
Andrea Arana serves as Global EHS Manager at Libra Industries, leading the company’s Environmental, Health, Safety, and ESG strategy across all Libra sites. With over 11 years of professional experience in environmental compliance, occupational safety, and organizational development, she drives alignment between regulatory excellence, operational performance, and sustainable growth.
Andrea holds a degree in Environmental Engineering with a specialization in waste minimization and management from ITESCA, as well as a Master’s degree in Human Capital Management from TecMilenio. She is a certified ISO 14001 Lead Auditor and Green Belt, bringing strong expertise in environmental management systems, risk prevention strategies, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Throughout her career, Andrea has successfully led ISO 14001 certifications, including the Guaymas facility during its transition from Benchmark to Libra in 2020. She is recognized for her expertise in regulatory compliance analysis in Mexico, the development of comprehensive risk identification and prevention programs, and the implementation of structured safety management systems within manufacturing environments.
Since the transition to Libra in 2020, Andrea has played a key role in strengthening and standardizing EHS programs. In her current global role, she leads strategic EHS and ESG initiatives across all Libra sites, ensuring global alignment, cross-functional collaboration, and executive-level reporting. She works closely with leadership teams to integrate safety, environmental stewardship, and sustainability objectives into business strategy and operational execution.
She is committed and passionate about developing strategic EHS frameworks that integrate risk prevention, safety culture strengthening, and regulatory compliance as fundamental pillars of organizational performance. Her approach is focused on implementing robust standards that protect people, operations, and the environment while promoting responsible and sustainable management practices. Outside of work, Andrea enjoys painting, exercising, and traveling to explore new cultures and perspectives.
