CLEVELAND, OHIO ― May 20, 2019 ― Cleveland private equity firm, CapitalWorks, announced today that it recently completed a majority investment in Libra Industries Inc. (“Libra”) in partnership with CEO, Rod Howell, the Howell family and the Libra management team.
In 1980 the Howell Family founded Libra Industries and has successfully led the business since its inception. Based in Mentor, Ohio Libra Industries, Inc. is a full-service solutions provider of engineered printed circuit board assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, and electronic control solutions.

Senior financing was provided by CIBC. Ironwood Capital provided subordinated debt and equity. CapitalWorks LLC was advised by Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff on the transaction.
